Story
On Sunday 1 June 2014 I will be doing the Cheshire Sprint Triathlon. As most of you probably know I have not done anything like this since my school days ... Although my main purpose is to improve my fitness I also want to raise awareness for Meningitis Now (formerly Meningitis Trust and Meningitis UK) who do wonderful work supporting families and investing into further research. Jessica was tragically taken from us on 16 October 2008 at a mere 2 years, 8 months and 10 days old with her whole life ahead of her. Jessica will always be in our hearts and my thoughts. 4th June 2014Well I made it and in a fairly respectable time 1.22 and 47 seconds!
I enjoyed the swimming and the cycling but when it came to the running that was a struggle! Having supporters along the route helped.
Thank you to all those who made the journey and thank you to everyone for your words of encouragement and your generous donations.
